Meet
our highly qualified and caring staff members and read a message
from our staff:
Ms.
Natalie Saracino, Assistant Director and Office Manager:
My name is Natalie Saracino. I’m 25 years old and I graduated
from River Hill High in 1999. I’ve been working with the children
for about 4 years from the ages of infancy to six years old.
I have my certification in Early Childhood Education and a
certificate working with Special Needs. I’m also C.P.R. and
First Aid Certified. At this time I work with the 4’s and
5’s and enjoy it very much. What I like best is doing their
“Art Activity” with them. I’m a very creative person and I
enjoy sharing that with them.
Ms.
Maritza Morris:
My name is Maritza Morris; I’m one of the wonderful teachers
at Children’s Farm Nursery. I’m 25 years old. I graduated
from River Hill High School in 2000. I took my 90-hour course
while in High School and a refresher course in 2002. I teach
in the two's and three’s classroom that is located downstairs.
We have a lot of fun every week learning all sorts of things;
from songs, tracing, counting, art and painting. If you would
like to meet our friends and me please come visit me here
on the farm and see what we are about!
Ms.
Casey Pettit:
My name is Casey Pettit. I’m 23 years old this is my first
time working in a daycare and I really enjoy it. I grew up
in Carroll County and graduated from South Carroll High School.
I’m C.P.R. and First Aid Certified. At this time I am an Aide
for both the upstairs and downstairs classrooms. I spend most
of my time aiding with the two’s and three’s teacher, Ms.
Maritza. Also when needed, I aide for Ms. Heather and Ms.
Natalie who is the four’s and five’s teacher. I really enjoy
learning about the different ages and what their needs are.
Hopefully in the near future I will be getting my 90-hour
certification.
Ms.
Heather Mayberry:
Hi, my name is Heather Mayberry and I’m the Director and four’s
and five’s teacher here at Children’s Farm Nursery. I graduated
from Perry Hall High School in 1998, and then I went to Essex
Community College where I received my 90-hour certification.
I have worked with children for 8 years, mainly in childcare
centers with children ages 1-15, with many different learning
levels and disabilities; like Ms. Natalie and Ms. Maritza
I’m also certified in C.P.R. & First Aid.

Message From Our Staff
Dear
Parents and Caregivers:
Welcome to Children’s farm Nursery where we believe
in the uniqueness of each child’s pattern of development.
That each child should be encouraged and enhanced through
a program that permits a variety of fun learning activities
and experiences. We also believe that a child’s mind,
soul, and body thrive in an atmosphere of love, and
that we can foster an atmosphere of love only by loving
and respecting each other.
We
are a truly unique learning center on 12 acres of safe,
pleasant farm surroundings. We offer a creative learning
curriculum and an unsurpassed recreational facility
including a small animal petting zoo.
We
have found that small children have a great capacity
and willingness to learn, and that they learn best when
they are:
• Free from tension and fatigue
• Free to question and discover
• Provided an environment stimulating on their individual
level of development
• Provided close adult guidance to help them interpret
and come to terms with their experiences, problems,
and emotions
• In a program with other children of varying ages
Thanks
for taking the time to check us out. We look forward
to meeting you and hopefully working with your children.
