-Educational
Program-
Begins
at 9:00 – 9:15, at this time the children have “Circle Time”,
and guided educational play under the supervision of a certified
teacher and an aid. The classroom is arranged by centers:
Housekeeping, Large & Small Blocks, Music, Arts &
Crafts and Reading. Depending on the age we also have a Math,
Science & Writing Center. See our Class
Itinerary for our monthly schedule of classes.
-Lunches-
We do not provide lunches, but we do provide a.m. & p.m.
snacks. There is a monthly calendar that goes out letting
parents see what type of snacks we offer.
-Weather-
We are open when in inclement weather but we open 1 hour late.
If it snows during the day when the center is open, depending
on how bad the weather is, we will be closing 2 hours early
as well.
-Classroom Policies-
• Good Behavior is reinforced with a smile or a pat on the
back.
• Undesirable behavior is discussed and warned two times.
The third time child is withdrawn from the activity and placed
in a chair away from their friends.
-Napping-
All children must bring a mesh bag a sheet and or a blanket
to nap on. If you know your child won’t sleep then we recommend
you bring in a stuffed animal, a book, or a toy of some sort
so that they don’t wake up their friends. Naptime is generally
from 12:45-2:45 depending on the age of the children. Our
younger friends tend to sleep a bit earlier then older friends.
-Registration & Tuition-
There is a non-refundable fee of $35.00 that fee also ensures
your child’s spot in the center. Tuition must be paid within
the first two days of the week. If tuition is paid late there
is a late fee that gets added to your account of $2.00 a day.
If your check is returned then there is a $10.00 fee or what
ever the bank charges. Parents are responsible to pay 52 weeks
and 12 months of payments during the year. Tuition is paid
to the center even when the center is closed, your on vacation,
illness ect…
-Late Fees-
We give the parents up to 6:15 p.m. to pick up your child
(ren) then after that the fee is $.50 a minute.
-Classroom Itinerary-
Each class has a set schedule that they follow throughout
the day but sometimes it doesn’t work out that way and things
get changed. Every week a “News Letter” goes out to the parents
letting them know of any changes, reminders and of any special
activities planned for that week. The newsletter is done off
of the different “theme” of the week, but every month the
letters, numbers, color (s) and shape are different.
